Six ballast tanks out of ten in total have been painted under the surveillance of Jotun, the coating supplier. The remaining tanks’ are still being painted. The preparation for cargo tank coating is started and scaffolds are installed. Besides the outfitting of the funnel, fore mast and aft mast are finished including the painting.

The assembly of 45 pieces of windows supplied by Bohamet is finished. Experienced staff managed to install the windows very quickly in the wheelhouse which has a very special design providing 270 degrees of sight and thus giving a great visibility to the master.

Today, our 2600 DWT Oil Product & Chemical Tanker, "Omega 2", which is under construction in Gisan Shipyard and classified by Bureau Veritas, has started the sea trials. The trials will take place in Marmara Sea during two full days. The oil product and chemical tanker of 72.62 m length and 2600 DWT capacity has been renamed as "Gazpromneft Nordwest".
